meet the team
I'm Emily, owner/founder of The Forest Fleur. I became interested in Bigfoot after watching a documentary on the subject & visiting a Bigfoot hot-spot in Whitehall, NY. My passion for Bigfoot has become my life's purpose, as I dedicate my time to researching this subject & learning everything I can about Bigfoot's intelligence level & origins. During my education & work experience, I have discovered a passion for research, writing, & product development. This site is where my skills meet. I love the idea of learning about something & being able to take home a unique souvenir to capture the memory. My mission is to open your mind to Bigfoot's existence by piecing together current evidence & what science knows about early humans & apes. I strive to not only document Bigfoot evidence, but to create a unique experience for my followers, & allow them to take home a special piece of this mystery through the products we create. Please feel free to reach out by commenting on our posts & visiting our social media pages @theforestfleur
I'm Austin, technical adviser & field guide at The Forest Fleur. Although I'm skeptical, I enjoy learning about Bigfoot through field work. Together, Em & I explore regions where this creature is said to occupy, & interview credible scientists, researchers & historians for our podcast, which I co-edit & produce! What I love most about this subject is the science behind it & the fact that hominins similar to Bigfoot once existed. I am on a mission to discover if Bigfoot, a creature that may have once existed, is still around today. I have extensive experience with the outdoors & navigating the great wilderness that Bigfoot is said to roam! Join us as we head deep into the forest to discover possible habitat & document our findings!
Cliff Barackman is a member of our Advisory Board. He has been an incredible mentor & has helped us to develop our theories & field work by sharing his knowledge & passion for this subject. Our partnership also extends beyond research. You can find our products in the gift shop of the North American Bigfoot Center! Cliff Barackman has been a Bigfoot field researcher since 1994. His expeditions have taken him to 46 states & five continents in search of evidence of undiscovered hominoids worldwide. As the evidence analyst on Animal Planet’s hit television show, Finding Bigfoot, Cliff has applied his skill & expertise to a variety of photographic, video, film, & sound evidence. Cliff is especially familiar with the footprint & handprint evidence for Sasquatches, & he is the curator for one of the largest collections of cast evidence in the world. He is co-owner & curator of the North American Bigfoot Center. Cliff is also an accomplished musician & outdoorsman living a quiet life on the western slopes of Oregon’s Cascade Mountain range, deep in the heart of Bigfoot country.
Connor W. Anderson has been researching sasquatch for about ten years. Originally from California, he spent most of his time searching for evidence in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, with moderate success. Now, he’s living in Oregon as a team member at the North American Bigfoot Center. After finding tracks in 2016 & possibly filming a pair of sasquatch on thermal in 2018, his research has shifted from gathering eye-witness reports to obtaining evidence through fieldwork . A firm believer that Sasquatch are just large non-human primates (similar to gorillas,) he has worked on gaining knowledge on primate behavior, & has applied that to his work in the field. Connor is an ambassador at The Forest Fleur, providing field work tips & adding compelling theories to our research. Learn more about him through our podcasts!
Levi. A. D. Machovec has always been interested in Sasquatch. That interest came from encounters that were told to him when he was younger. The interest that captivated his youth turned into research after reading Dr. Meldrum’s Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science. He did two independent studies while in college that he used for the foundation of his book A Quest for the Truth: A Historian’s Argument for the Existence of Sasquatch, where he argues that Sasquatch is a primate & that all theories surrounding this creature should be grounded in the natural world. Levi was a guest on the fourth episode of our podcast where he talked about his independent study on the Yeti. He has since focused his studies on the Patterson-Gimlin Film, the Myakka Ape photos, & historical accounts of these creatures. Levi is an ambassador at The Forest Fleur, using his historical research to help us make sense of modern theories & evidence. Learn more about him through our podcast & be sure to check out his book available on our products page!
Eli Watson has been interested in cryptozoology for as long as he can remember. Growing up in the age of Monster Quest & Finding Bigfoot, he found the idea of Bigfoot to not only be plausible, but probable. This interest spawned into a podcast known as Cryptid Campfire, where he is able to devote time to serious research into various cryptozoological & paranormal phenomena. As an ambassador for the Forest Fleur, Eli posits unique theories & a historical perspective to the field of Cryptozoology & the search for Sasquatch.
Gloria has always been interested in Sasquatch & has recently done extensive research on the yeti, communicating with top researchers across the globe. She has been instrumental in supporting our scientific & historical research, & will continue to bring her warm energy & enthusiasm to future podcast episodes, as she begins to co-host on occasion. We are excited to have Gloria as part of the team & feature her handmade products in our store (Bigfoot necklaces coming soon to our product lineup!)
