can your trash harm bigfoot?

Picture

don't gift

Barry is a Bigfoot, so he likely shares DNA with apes. Did you know that humans share 98.8% of our DNA with chimpanzees?

Apes pass disease to one another. Remember, humans are apes too! Giving them food you have touched could be detrimental to their species. Please keep this in mind while researching.

In 1966, Chimpanzees in Gombe, Africa were fighting a Polio epidemic, caused by human interaction.

Dr. Jane Goodall, who was studying them at the time, described what she witnessed as “a bad dream.” Watching these animals so close to our own species suffer was an unforgettable experience for Dr.Goodall.

clean up

Take some time to clean up your local wilderness areas! Trash can be harmful not only to Sasquatch, but their prey. The Forest Fleur Footprint Casting Collapsible Bucket doubles as a trash bucket out in the woods. Pick up as much as you can to leave the area better than you found it!

Canada is the largest supplier of softwood lumber to the United States, accounting for approximately 30% of U.S. softwood lumber consumption. British Columbia has been logged since the 1800s & continues to suffer deforestation & habitat disruption. Sasquatch reports are abundant in this area, & we can confidently say their ecosystem is being impacted. To help, donate here. Large-scale palm & soybean oil production continues to devastate gibbon & orangutan (& orang pendek, Sumatra's version of Bigfoot) populations. High-income countries account for 15x more biodiversity loss abroad, with the U.S. alone responsible for 3% of global forest habitat loss. The import of these products fuels deforestation. To help, donate here.

Don't Knock

A tree's bark is like human skin. If it comes off, it exposes the inner layer of live tissue. This can lead to disease & damage from insects. Tree bark does not grow back. Knocking on trees to imitate Bigfoot's "tree knock" sounds damages their habitat.
