Hi, I'm Emily! I study Sasquatch, an unrecognized ape that inhabits not only the forests of North America, but the entire world. Join me as I study Sasquatch anatomy, behavior & habitat. My mission is to increase public understanding of the Sasquatch species & advocate for their protection. I hope to create a frame of reference for those who haven't yet had their own encounters through engaging content, colorful visuals & exciting merch!

Hi, I'm Winnie! I love joining Emily on all her Sasquatch adventures. My job is to sniff out Sasquatch & lead my team to evidence!
my story
I was eleven years old when I found the DVD. It was tucked in the back of my parents' TV cabinet, a gift from my grandmother: "The Legend of Bigfoot" by Ivan Marx. Thinking I'd put it on for background noise while I worked on my embroidery, I popped it into the player. Five minutes in, I was on the edge of my seat, nail-biting, wide-eyed, completely hooked.
That night I started internet-searching everything. What is Sasquatch? How many are there? How has something like this stayed hidden for so long? And... are there any in New York? Whitehall, New York: the self-proclaimed Sasquatch Capital of the state, home to a string of famous sightings in the 1970s, was about a 5 hour drive from my NYC home. My grandmother and I dug in further, turning up more stories from across the Adirondacks. I had to get to Whitehall. After begging my parents for almost a year, they agreed to take me. The town was quiet — empty streets, no one around. We walked for a while before we finally ran into a small group of locals and asked if they knew anything about the Sasquatch sightings. They pointed us toward the local museum, which turned out to be dedicated to the town's real claim to fame: The birthplace of the U.S. Navy. Behind the counter was a kind older gentleman who lit up the second we asked. His finger, a little shaky, traced across a local map as he walked me through exactly where he believed the creatures were living — ridge by ridge, cave by cave. I stood there with my family, asking questions like a real investigator, finally getting answers to a search that had started with a Google query and a grandmother's old DVD. I still consider it one of the best days of my life. In the museum's display case was a small, hand-carved wooden Sasquatch for sale, made by someone local. $10 was all it took to call it mine. I looked at it every single day. Every time I did, something in me lit up. It wasn't just a souvenir. It was proof that curiosity, followed all the way through, turns into something real. That fire followed me to college, where I studied product development and somehow found a way to sneak Sasquatch into nearly every project I could. It all came together in a retail concept assignment: a store built around Sasquatch-inspired merchandise, designed with the intention of lighting that same fire in others, and inspiring folks to take their curiosity to the next level. That's how the Forest Fleur was born. |

On October 20th, 1967, Roger Patterson & Bob Gimlin headed out on horseback to Bluff Creek, California, as part of a search for this species. After spending about 2 weeks in the field, Roger captured a one-minute film of a Sasquatch. What sets this footage apart is the muscle structure observed with each of the creature's movements, her pendulous breasts, & the footprints she left behind. To this day, the Patterson Gimlin footage has remained the most credible evidence of this species, as attempts to prove it a hoax have failed. The Forest Fleur logo is inspired by this particular individual, & you will notice breasts on our hand-drawn figure to represent the female Sasquatch.
