why haven't we filmed bigfoot?

With all the technology that we have nowadays, why have we not filmed Bigfoot as clearly as we once did in the Patterson-Gimlin film?

If we take a closer look into the Patterson-Gimlin film, which has been disproven by CGI technology to have been a person, we notice a few things. First of all, this film was shot in a very densely wooded area up in Northern California where there are few people in the first place. A major key in determining why these men were able to film this illusive creature in 1967 lies in their means of travel. Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin were traveling horseback through Bluff Creek, when they noticed a large, bipedal figure walking swiftly away from them. Firstly, humans tend to stick out like a sore thumb in the wilderness. Between perfumes, hair products, and laundry detergent, we reek of unfamiliar smells while traveling through such natural land. Many theorists believe that the men were masked by the more natural smell of the horses, making them virtually invisible to the senses. Another important observation is that the horses move quickly and rather quietly through the brush, whereas a human would move more slowly and clumsily, therefore making more noise and allowing for more time to be detected. An important point to be made is that the creature rushes to walk away at the immediate sight of the men, after discovering that the horses were not alone. Horses are prey, not predator, and do not pose a threat to other animals. People, however, can threaten another intelligent species (after all, we killed them all off during our early human stage).
Now that we have figured out why Patterson and Gimlin were able to sneak up and film this illusive species, we must address why we have not filmed Bigfoot via a drone or cell phone camera. My extensive research has brought me to the conclusion that we (humans) are simply too arrogant. We believe that we can outsmart anything using technology. That may be the case with an unadvanced, unintelligent species of animal, however we must remember what Bigfoot is believed by scientists to be: A PRIMITIVE SPECIES OF HUMAN! That being said, the evidence supporting these creatures suggests that they may be capable of language, religious practices such as burial of their dead, and hunting and scavenging. These species have been reported to create loud, high pitched screeches, indicating the possibility of a type of sonar technology, similar to bats and marine life. If this is the case, Bigfoot’s hearing might be extremely sensitive. A man out in the woods, cell-phone ready, no matter how quiet he thinks he is, could be a siren to a Bigfoot’s ears. If this species is as intelligent as us early humans once were, it would know to stay away from the impending danger.
Regarding helicopters and drones, there have been a few potential Bigfoots filmed by them, but many people ask, “why not more?” We must consider the supported evidence suggesting that Bigfoot is nocturnal. Most sightings and vocal recordings take place between dusk and sunrise, leading scientists to believe that the creature is in-fact, nocturnal. If this is the case, drones would be useless in locating this species in pitch black, thick brush conditions. It would take a stroke of luck to get even a blurry image.
Another skepticism that has been brought to my attention is that Bigfoot has not been clearly photographed on trail cameras. A vital fact to consider is that trail cameras use infrared technology, which can actually be picked up very clearly by some animals. Snakes, bed-bugs, and certain beetles can actually see in infrared, therefore a trail camera would be like a light bulb in a dark room. Perhaps Bigfoot is among these adapted animals, considering we do have significant evidence proving that they are nocturnal.
Many argue that with the growing technology in our society today, that we would have caught a Bigfoot on camera at least a few times by now. On the contrary, Bigfoot is an extremely illusive creature that is most likely a very small population. Consider the many ethnic tribes discovered in rainforests around the world that have gone undetected for hundreds of years. If we are just discovering them now, it is mere proof that a small population of intelligent species could thrive in a dense forest or swamp. If these creatures are in-fact nocturnal, then the possibility of catching an image at night would be slim to none, and even if we had infrared cameras, Bigfoot may be able to detect them. After researching into the topic, there is significant evidence proving that Bigfoot is extremely illusive. What do you think? Leave comments below!
