A friend of mine has worked in an infectious disease lab for years. This lab is used to test vaccines on primates to see how they affect humans.
As much as it saddens me that we are testing on animals, this lab may hold key information about Sasquatch.
I have heard many researchers using the "gifting" method of basically baiting a Sasquatch using food items like candy bars or apples.
Although their intentions may be good, this gifting can be detrimental to their species. I have done some research on how apes are affected by our germs & surprisingly, they can catch quite a few illnesses from us. If Bigfoot is an ape, gifting them items we've contaminated could wipe out their population.
If Bigfoot is more on the human end of things, the risk remains. After all, European settlers were responsible for a dramatic reduction in Native American population by spreading disease.
I recently saw my friend & mentioned this research to him. I asked him, "Did you ever give the primates in the lab treats? Were you allowed to touch them?"
He pondered the question & said "Actually, yes, you have a point there. We used to dip any fruits or other treats in a diluted bleach bath before giving them to the animals. This would prevent us from spreading disease to them."
I found this to be very interesting, proving my theory further. I think it is very important to spread the word about gifting. This is such a common research method that needs to be eradicated.
I will be continuing to research this & spread the message! Here are some facts about gifting:
Bears are attracted to human garbage, which means if they get a taste of it, they'll start relying on it for food sources. This might also be the case for Bigfoot!
Did you know that humans share 98.8% of our DNA with chimpanzees?
Great apes are highly susceptible to human respiratory viruses. The common cold virus has been known to affect gorillas & chimpanzees. If Bigfoot is an ape, anything left behind from us humans can negatively affect their species.
It is now estimated that 90% of the Native population was killed by European disease. If Bigfoot is human, our germs may be detrimental to their species!
